The soul of a Yearbook
Now that we are in Semester 2, my last semester as a high school student, I hope to further my understanding of what makes a great yearbook. As this is my second year, I believe I am coming closer to that idea, that maybe it is us the yearbook staff that makes a great yearbook, not the pictures or the word but us. It is our job to capture the memories and to place them on the pages. It is our creative minds that must elaborate this yearbook, our passion that make it come alive. So for this last semester, I hope that I can capture the moments I need to, so I can create a bond that everyone can remember, simply by opening up there Newaygo Yearbook.
The Soul of a Sales Person
During First semester, it was one of our projects to collect
ads from nearby business. This tasked was a fun project, as we got the leave
school. However, it also came with great responsibility. At first I thought I
was the best sales person, because I am leading the class in sales. However,
during this journey I learned a valuable lesson, a lesson on proof reading.
During one of my ads sales, I had to send an email, well; in the email I used
many grammar errors and misspelling many words. Long story short, I learned
that in the job market how you present yourself through email may determine whether
you get the job or not. Also I got a $25 gift card to MacDonald's. So
throughout semester one, I learned a great deal about presenting yourself to
future employers.
This is my winter project, wrestling, as part of the team it is an honor to capture this season. As I do not have any pictures yet, for I am waiting for the closing of our season, a parent of the teams loves taking pictures. This project is quiet similar to my fall project, simply because its a sport that I love and I am apart of. Come back to see the FINAL Screen shot!!
Cross Country PAGE!!!
Through-out semester one, my project was the Newaygo Cross Country page, as being apart of the team it was a honor to create this page as a reflection of my fellow brothers. Like they say a picture is worth a thousand words, but they page only could capture a fraction of the joy we had. I hope you like it!
